1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Passwordgen by KryptonPeak (the “Service”), operated by KryptonPeak Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. What the Service does
The Service generates password strings and provides a basic password-strength estimate. The estimate is a simple heuristic based on length and character variety. It is informational only: it does not measure how unique a password is, compare it with breach databases, or guarantee that a password is secure or has never been exposed.
Password generation and strength evaluation are convenience tools, not a password manager, identity service, or substitute for your own security judgment.
3. Your passwords and responsibility
- Use a unique password for each account and store it in a reputable password manager.
- A password entered into the strength tester is sent to the Service's application server so it can calculate and return a score. Do not submit a password that you currently use for an account or any other sensitive credential.
- Generated passwords are returned to your browser. Keep them private and use a secure connection when accessing the Service.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a generated password meets a particular service's requirements and for securing any password you choose to use.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it to test credentials you are not authorized to handle, or use it in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
5. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to keep it available, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of generated results.
6. Intellectual property
The Service's software, branding, and original content are owned by or licensed to KryptonPeak Technologies and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the Service for personal or internal lawful purposes; they do not transfer ownership to you.
7. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that a password generated or evaluated by the Service will prevent unauthorized access, satisfy another service's requirements, or be suitable for a particular purpose. No online tool can guarantee security.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, KryptonPeak Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss resulting from your handling, disclosure, or use of a password. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
